One of the greatest gifts I have received since arriving in Tampa has been the community I've connected with through Aletheia Church and I met Kat and Josh through this wonderful church.
These two are wrapping up school while planning a wedding-- their love is magnetic and their energy is contagious! We ventured to Fort DeSoto Beach in St. Peterburg, Florida for their session.
When Kat and I first talked about session locations she used words like "fields", "quaint walkways", "bridges" and "lots of green". I joked that she and Josh needed to come to Kansas for that sort of backdrop-- hehe! It turns out, however, that Florida has it's share of Kansas touches nestled into many of its public parks. Though none of us had visited Fort DeSoto before, it turned out to be the most perfect spot for what these two had in mind.
We had the preserve completely to ourselves during the session and couldn't wait to head to the beach. On our way, we found a patch of Floridian-inspired fields, just like Kat had hoped we'd find. As the sun began to drop, the glow of the surrounding preserve had me ooooh-ing and aaaaah-ing over these love birds.
We caught the last glimmers of sunlight walking the shoreline of Fort DeSoto. It was so wonderful to have the beach to ourselves-- these two were able to laugh, walk, and kiss as many times as they wanted.... or I asked them to..... ;-)
