In honor of earth day and my first free evening in a long time, Katherine and I went on a photo walk around our little neighborhood. I love Seminole Heights for a lot of reasons, one of which is the abundance of greenery and flowers that perfume the air. I also love the historic brick roads that reflect warm sunlight between the houses and alleyways.
With summer skies quickly approaching but spring temperatures still lingering, it was a completely gorgeous night to play with lenses, settings and perspectives.
We ended our evening at the majestic Seminole Heights Garden Center. Seriously-- have you ever seen a prettier neighborhood landmark? I'm so, so thankful for our little corner of Tampa.
“It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.” —David Attenborough
Happy Earth day, friends!
