One of the things I'm most thankful for here in Tampa is our church community and the opportunity to truly walk alongside and do life with so many loving, intentional people.
Lisa and Jon are definitely two such individuals and guess, what, they're getting married at the end of May!
Their story is one that God has been writing for years. A story that began with a friendship, followed by a date Jon planned the night before Lisa's 25th birthday to help her cross off "go on a date" from her 25 before 25 list, and ended with "I love you" shared moments apart in December when they became engaged. From their love for God and their desire to see Him known in the city of Tampa and beyond, to their love of ice cream, I have no doubt that an incredible adventure is in store for these two.
Though I will be out of town and unable to shoot their wedding, I had the privilege of making their engagement portraits on a gorgeous night here in our neighborhood of Seminole Heights. We started at River Crest park, just as the sun was dodging between trees and bounding off of the Hillsborough river and ended with sticky fingers and sprinkle covered faces at historic Bo's Ice Cream. It was so fun!
Here's to many more ice cream dates, you two. Love you both so much.
in His love,
