There haven't been a lot of opportunities since moving to Florida to cross paths with people//places//things from home and most days I feel my heart aching for just a taste of something that's a little more familiar. I shriek and wave my arms in the car when I see Kansas plates, hunt for people with K-State shirts in Sam's Club and even have tried to get better at a few of our BBQ recipes.
You can imagine my excitement when I was able to coordinate time to meet up with Kimberly (a current K-Stater, Disney Cast member and former student of mine) and her boyfriend Michael right here in Tampa! Kim is completing the same Disney internship I did and it was amazing to hear about her experience and then see here again last week when she graciously let us into the parks. It was also wonderful to meet Michael, who lives all the way in Arizona, and see them interact together for their sunrise lifestyle session on the University of Tampa campus.
These two are totally head over heels and were soaking in their weekend that for once did not include long phone calls and yearning hearts wishing for just a minute to be together. I love capturing this kind of love!
Kim + Michael,
Thank you for spending the morning with me-- you were the best sunrise clients ever. J and I will be praying for you both as you continue to navigate long distance, finishing school etc. You are both amazing, thank you for visiting our city so we could see you!
in His love, Laura
