When the unexpected happens, we are typically confronted almost immediately with a choice:
1.) Let it make life hard, sad and even tragic moving forward.
2.) Move forward confidently and with grace.
Nahomy is such a picture of what it looks like to choose grace.
Nahomy and her brother were involved in an accident earlier this year and as a result, she missed the opportunity to celebrate her Quinceañera. Thanks to the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Tampa organization, however, we were able to recreate pieces of her dream day with a photo shoot on the USF campus. I loved the dress she chose for the day and the pops of color in her hair that brought out so much of her lovely personality! It was truly a privilege to meet her and her family and to spend some time making her feel like a beautiful princess!
I have no doubt you will do incredible things in this world! Thank you for being such a pillar of strength and for allowing me to help you celebrate all that you have accomplished this year!
"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." Proverbs 31:25
