Why I do this work

It's true, I love life in its fullest form:

messy

imperfect

amazing

energizing

hard

uncomfortable

challenging

unknown

(just to name a few)

This week I've been reminded to share that I capture and write to help speak truth into the unspoken and to shed His light into darkness. So, if things over here ever seem

real

raw

joyful

uncertain

blessed

that's likely accurate.

Because my life on a good day is a picture of God's grace and for that I will always say thank you. I am small, He is big and I firmly believe that understanding this is a wonderful and much needed thing. So, if I ever write and it seems like life is hard, please understand that arriving at the end of a day aware of my sin, aware of my idols and aware of my brokenness is in-fact an amazing gift that provides so much freedom.

I'm never here to make a splash, just to capture life. Real life. And to talk about it.
