Heather and Martez were my first wedding of 2015 and my excitement for their day only grew after J and I met them in the fall for their Downtown St. Pete Engagement Session. Their love began when they were just teenagers and so many friends and family members were waiting for them to finally say “I do”! As such, their wedding day was a b-last and Heather was SO calm! A few of my favorite pieces of their day….

For a person who gets a little too much enjoyment out of organizing and planning, you’d think I’d be a little better at goal setting and jumping into countdowns head first. Instead, more often than not they overwhelm me and make me want to hide under the covers until it’s all over!

Well, sister, the holiday season is officially here. You’ve been waiting for it all year, to add onto your memories with him and to hopefully make one that will change everything. You’re feeling anxious, romantic, and anticipatory at the thought of a sparkly ring being on your hand by the start of the new year. You’ve been talking about it, so you’re sure it’s coming, but he’s tight lipped and the details are unknown to you.

He met her brother first and once he approved, their romance began.

Truly though, the last two years have been a perfect and sweet start to the story, a direct reflection of their personalities both individually and as a couple. Robert and Stacy connected through a church community group and soon realized that they shared a lot of interests.

Gah! Even after previewing this session and seeing it beautifully shared last week by BeSpoke Bride (!!!), I’m still just thanking God for the opportunity to bring this shoot together. Casting vision and have other creatives come alongside you to bring it to life is truly one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had.
