One of the greatest blessings we received upon moving to Florida was a church home- something we’d yearned for and prayed for since we got married. Within the first couple weeks of arriving, the pastor (Aaron), took the time after church to hear a bit of our story and welcome us. After J left to head back to KS I jumped into community with this family and others and I just can’t thank the Lord enough for his provision of an amazing community.
The Proffitts are incredible people who pursue the Lord and are used by Him in amazing ways every day. They are generous, loving, and oh so talented. Ashlee is a phenomenal artist (check out Ashlee Proffitt Designs!) and Aaron a gifted teacher. They have four beautiful children, one of whom is in heaven, and they invite others to enter into their life everyday to see them as parents, neighbors, husband/wife and just grace-chasing people.
I’m so thankful that we got to sneak downtown to Oxford Exchange and The University of South Florida for a family mini-session. Ashlee loves classic lines and crisp white, so, their outfits combined with the urban backdrops made for a super stylish session!
I love you, Proffitt fam! Thanks so much for adventuring with J & I! I’m excited for your next session 🙂
