It is always incredibly special to be invited into a family's home for a wedding. For Katherine + Michael, the experience was tenfold. Upon flying to D.C, for their engagement session, I had the opportunity to meet Katherine's family at their iconic piece of Arlington, The Italian Store. We ventured to the memorials and the ended with their vintage Vespa and a slice of white pizza. Her dad filled my arms with wine and gelato and I got a taste of this family's love of hosting, food, and those they care about most. On their wedding day, amid a tropical storm, 350 people filled their backyard tent. Hand pulled mozzerella, procuitto, and vino was abundant and they truly had the best day of their life! Special thanks to their incredible vendor team who executed such a beautiful day amid wild weather. One for the books!
