I just can’t get enough of this wonderful family =) You have watched baby Harmony grow up over the past six months and it was finally time to get the whole family in front of the camera. Ginger & Ryan are servants to Christian Challenge at Kansas State and are truly changing lives every day. It is always amazing to me that they continue pouring out their time and energy into college students while also running a household with four little ones. As these pictures go out in their yearly support newsletter, I pray that friends and family will see the sacrifices they make everyday for God’s kingdom and consider supporting their family through 2011. Thank you for ministering into my life, Ginger, Ryan & kiddos- love you all! (PS Enjoy the kid’s faces throughout the pictures… they had a lot of energy and were wearing us out/cracking us up with their expressions!)

What a FUN shoot! Courtney & Jason live in Kansas City and are expecting their first baby, a little boy, in June. Courtney is just about the cutest little pregnant thing ever and I was so excited to take these maternity pictures of she & Jason. The couple chose blue balloons with confetti ribbon for their prop– so cute! I loved shooting at a new location (Old Overland Park) and trying some new things (like asking them to dance 🙂 ) during this session! Can’t wait for baby Hupp to make his 1st appearance this summer.

Finally! After four months of anticipation it was finally time for me to roadtrip to Mound City, Missouri to meet the Crider family! Mandy and Jacob have two beautiful daughters, Emma and Maycee. Mandy was born and raised in Mound City and Jacob grew up in the neighboring town. They are now raising their two daughters in the same places they grew up loving – so neat! We of course took some pictures at the school Mandy attended and now teaches at while Emma is in class. These photos were also a special celebration of Maycee’s first birthday coming up in June. This family picked some super fun PROPS: wooden colored flower pinwheels & a cupcake/1 year candle for miss Maycee. Thanks for inviting me to Mound City Crider Family!

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to take a mini-trip to Mound City, Missouri! You have seen Catherine & Carina before- they braved the freezing cold weather in January for surprise pictures to give to their mom. After years without family pictures it was time for an update and what better backdrop to use than the family’s farm! I had so much fun climbing around their grain bins and tractors. The Metzgars live on a farm that has been in the family for 100 years- earning them the Missouri Century Farm award earlier this year. Thanks so much for having me out, I had a wonderful time!

I have had so much fun meeting new clients this month! The Laflin’s are the 2nd oldest cattle ranching family in the United States. I was so excited to visit their ranch for family pictures with their two, count em’ TWO, sets of twins! Colt + Gus (4), Ellie + Tate (2), mom, dad and I set off to explore the ranch. From playing around in their wagon, riding the horse, exploring the creek bed and petting the 3-day old baby goats, we had quite a day! Thank you Laflin family for inviting me over, I hope you enjoy the fun pictures!

Loving, energetic & funny all describe this great family! Emily and I are both graduating from FSHS this weekend and I was excited when she asked if I could take a few pictures of her family while they were in town. These four sisters were a lot of fun, ready to go even though it was early on a Saturday morning. Mr. & Mrs. Hatch were also very sweet, we celebrated their marriage in several pictures as well =) Great to meet all of you and special congratulations to the twins, Andrea & Emily, on their upcoming graduation!
