What a privilege to get to work with this girl during her second year in the same graduate program I started in this year! I am so glad we had the opportunity to work together for most of the year, too. I admire her faith and passion, commitment to service and love of those closest to her. Soon she’ll move her life to the southwest for a new and exciting start where she will no doubt continue to shine the light of Jesus. These images serve as both her farewell to USF and hello to the big, bright professional world that awaits. As a former pageant girl, she totally rocked her head shots.

It’s been my experience that this life has no limit of amazing people to know, meet and spend time with. I’m learning, however, that it’s rare for these individuals to cross the boundaries of work, home, values, and beliefs. It is for this reason that I count Katherine as one who is near and dear in this Tampa land we are learning to build community with.

While I don’t work with families often anymore in the portrait world, every now and then an exceptional mamma comes across my path who easily convincesme that spending an evening with her kiddos will be amazing.

Before J and I even made the leap to Florida, I had made a friend in Gabbie. We were placed in the same office together and followed each other’s summer adventures before life finally brought us together.

Every time I have the opportunity to work with talented people, my experience as a photographer is incredible. I’m not sure if it’s the merging of visionary energy or the chance to showcase something so personal like talent, but the experience is always  i n c r e d i b l e.
