Nahomy and her brother were involved in an accident earlier this year and as a result, she missed the opportunity to celebrate her Quinceañera. Thanks to the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Tampa organization, however, we were able to recreate pieces of her dream day with a photo shoot on the USF campus.

One of the many blessings that has come from being a part of the Aletheia church community has been some really wonderful friendships. Lisa has become one such friend and it was so fun to celebrate her PhD completion in August! This girl has an incredible heart and is already such a vessel for the Lord in her work as a psychologist. Also, she’s the only person on the history of the planet who can make PhD garb look good. I mean, really? She’s just gorgeous!

A few weeks ago we met in Downtown Dunedin to make some portraits for her business, Makeup by Emily Ann. We were originally introduced through Tiffany and it’s been amazing getting to know Emily both as a professional and a friend! She loves the Lord and also has a passion for beauty and art– I cannot wait to collaborate with her!

Sometimes I just know that a session is going to be great and Lynn + Yan’s was one such session. These two are a part of J and I’s church community but we hadn’t met them in-person yet prior to their session. We met at the University of Tampa on a quiet Thursday night and had a blast getting to know them and hearing more about their story. These two are incredible entrepreneurs who booked this session to build their headshot portfolios. Of course, we made a few couples portraits, too! They will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary this fall and are just doing awesome things thanks to God’s provision!

Last week I met Lynn and Yan for a combination headshot and couple portrait session. With little discussion ahead of time, because the focus of their images would be on tight-framed head shots, they showed up and blew me away. They are a great example of what couples and individuals alike should consider in terms of highlighting style and beauty within their portrait session.
